My top 4 can't decide on #1 "Strong Enough To Bend" so so sensual."Love Me Like You Used To" such a classy cover and a break from what we were used to expecting. "Lovin' and Learnin'" Wow that was a warning of what was coming. The cover of her first album.. go on then.....this would prbably have to be my favorite and what wouldn't I give to get hold of that belt (nice butt too).

love tanya with the horse in the water, so probably strong enough to bend, that would make a awesome poster, and probably girls like me because she looks hot! But all after tnt!!!!!

TNT exempt????Aww Man....Ridin' Rainbows...(Look at that beautiful face on the front and the sexy look on the back..Album cover) Strong Enough to Bend....Very Cool Pic...Tear Me Apart...Love the front and the back of the album cover...Winner....Strong Enough to Bend...Tear Me Apart is second though...

The picture on the boxed set is really pretty cool also! It should be high on my list. Tanya standing there with her hand shielding he eyes! Very cool!
Linda posted 1/2/07 4:12 PM
I have a signed poster of T with the horse in the water. I think it is the same one that is on the boxed set. I got it with my fan club membership.
Linda posted 1/2/07 4:25 PM
I made a mistake. I got out my pictures and what I have is an 8 x 10 of T in the water shading her eyes. Then I have a poster of what I think is the "What do I do with me" cover and this poster is signed. She has on the striped blanket skirt and a denium blouse, cowboy hat and pointing her finger. Sorry I should have looked first. I also have 2 of the 8 x 10 autographed photos that are sold at concerts with her looking over her shoulder. One from 06 and one from 04. This is the the head shot only.

All of Tanya,s LP covers are special to me. But I would have to say Changes stands out as my favorit. She just broke up with Glen (Who) hehehe And for me I can still see the hurt in her eyes. And knowing she wrote the title song as well makes it that much more special for me.

Yeah, BT is very distinctive -- I like hearing her songs intermittently on the radio, but I don't think I would want to hear a whole album of BT songs with the extreme gravely voice. (EX.: I really like Dwight Yoakum, but a whole cd of Dwight is too much twang at one time).

FYI on LAURA BRANIGAN: Laura had passed away in her sleep the night of Thursday August 26th 2004 of a Brain aneurysm in her home. I know this is Tanya's site, but just some info on another very talented artist, that besides Tanya, I got to meet and although she seemed shy, I was very excited about meeting her and got to tell her myself that her music meant alot to me before she passed away. Like Tanya, I have always been a fan of Laura, too. Her last recordings, "Remember Me" contains some of her very last recordings, including a cover of "I Know You By Heart" and "The Challenge."

I think Billy Bobs was recorded April -then out in November..? I requested info direct from Renaissance because here in Michigan, it will never be on a shelf - I cannot believe all the stores I visit & always look for DVD's & CD's of Tanyas to see what they have ...always -0-! Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal- mart, K-Mart, any of them. I hope its not like that everywhere - the stores should've had plenty of the Live @ Billy Bobs on the shelves for Christmas - I was going to buy 1 as a gift for a friend - Nowhere to be found - other than internet for me...Ralph

Tower Records which is now closed always was fair to Tanya.. . they always seemed to have an adequate supply.. and Dimple Records here too.. and Wal Mart.. Target does not carry any Tanya..... i always read that Tanya was not amply supplied across the nation.. but we do have to now admit that in these years. she is NOT on the top of everyone's Christmas list... =(.. a fate that is and will be met by EVERY artist.. i just remember the CD What Do I Do With Me.. it was SO PLENTIUFUL and on every MAJOR display here.. probably why it was her first PLATINUM

They sell her stuff at Walmart in Mobile. But then, this is "redneck" country! I'm with you FL Dee, with all the technology these days, how long does it freakin take? She ought to do what Garth did and make a special distribution deal with "Walmart" since she gave them so much publicity in her Tuckerville episodes!

Ok - here is the deal, I went and check the 'News' and 'Concert Reviews' on this website: The Billy Bob's concert was April 30th and the cd/dvd was released November 8th... however, I do recall the dvd being about a week or two later than the official release date. Probably gonna be a little while on the Renaissance cd/dvd. I would think you will see Tuckerville back on tv before the cd/dvd hits the streets (if the Billy Bob's project is an indicator).

I have been needing to do this for a while and finally took the time: There are now 2 pages on this website for concert photos -- The most recent one "TT Concert Photos 2" will have the most recent additions to the gallery section ... then after a month or so the photos will be placed in chronological order. If you don't care why I split it up..stop reading HERE; if your curious here is the deal: search engines supposedly don't like pages with more than 100 links and the old TT Concert Photo page had well over 100, probably still does, I need to count and tweak accordingly.

I saw Deborah Allen perform at Fan Fair two years ago as One third of the Pajama Party -- Deborah Allen, Michelle Wright and the twins -- Kinleys or something like that. Deborah sings a medley of her songs that other artists' recorded -- in every case the other artist does a better job. Having said that, she really does Baby I Lied very well. We also saw Deborah last year at Fan Fair at the tractor race -- if you ever see her driving somewhere, I would get off the road as far away as possible. (I am pretty sure there are photos of the Pajama Party on the "Other Artist" page and I think there is a picture of her in the tractor race from last year as well -- look for the tractor on two wheels mowing down hay bales).

I SENT THIS MESSAGE TO TARGET STORES, I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL HELP, BUT IT CAN'T HURT.

Comments: I DON'T SHOP AT TARGET, BECAUSE YOU DON'T CARRY TANYA TUCKER'S MUSIC. I LIKE TO SHOP AT A STORE WHERE I CAN FIND ANYTHING I NEED AND THAT ENCLUDES MUSIC BY MY FAVORITE ARTIST. A LOT OF MY FRIENDS ACROSS THE US DON'T SHOP AT YOUR STORE, BECAUSE OF THE SAME REASON. SHE MAKES GREAT MUSIC AND HAS A NEW DVD COMING OUT. IT'S TOO BAD YOU WILL MISS A LOT OF SALES. WAL-MART CARRIES HER MUSIC AND HER CD'S SELL OUT AS FAST. WHEN HER T.V. SHOW "TUCKERVILLE" COMES BACK ON IN APRIL, THE STORES THAT CARRY HER MUSIC WILL SELL OUT EVEN FASTER. IF YOU EVER DECIDE TO CARRY HER MUSIC LET ME KNOW AND MAYBE I'LL COME BACK TO YOUR STORE. KATHY GOSS

Way to go Kathy!BTW, I don't like Target anyway! They would'nt let the Salvation Army people outside their stores. There was a big controversy a couple years ago over it, and I haven't been back to Target since!

i don't blame you dee the salvation army does good things for people in need and i think that it's ashame that target wouldn't let them stand outside their door.

.. I really like the "Love You Gave to Me".... kind of spiritual, kind of a love song (maybe a girl thing). My least favorite that popped into my head is "As Long As There's a Heartbeat" don't remember which cd that is on.

I think As Long As There's A Hearbeat is from Tennessee Woman.. WOW.. I love that song.. guess that is why there are so many artists and songs around.. you never know who will like what..LOL

White Rocket for I think Ridin' Rainbows.
SUCKIE-VILLE. This is really about the only one that stands out for me but Sneaky Moon runs a close second. I think I had posted that I loved everything T has done well, I had time to think about this one so these are my two.

I have never liked "Shotgun" for some reason. I am sure if I think about it a few more will come to mind. I never liked "soon" much either.

Ok, Fl Dee, we're gonna have to fight this one ourselves, LOL! I absolutely love "The Love You Gave To Me" off "Fire to Fire". that's one of my all time favorites, it did show a spirtual side of her, and I liked that!

Micheal: WHITE ROCKET IS ONE MY ALL TIME FAVORITES!!!.. wow.. what a diverse group we have here.. isn't it amazing that someone can hate a song but someone else actually LOVE IT... guess that's why they write 'em... BE SAFE THIS NEW YEARS EVERYONE !
Michael posted 12/31/06 1:10 AM
Sorry Ron, White Rocket, in my opinion was so (in the bucket for me). Her singing sounded amaturish and the song was so overly produced...IMO! Got to say, I do love 95% of T's Material...not many misses in the music for our Miss T legend girl.

I don't think I've heard "White Rocket", guess I'll have to find it and see what all the controversy is about! This is really weird, usually its the guys who like one song, and the girls don't. But two guys disagreeing over the same song, well I'll be darn, LMAO!

Peter posted 12/31/06 4:27 PM
Guys, Sorry I am not getting into this topic at all. White Rocket to me is a very earthy Tanya song right for the time and stll a good one, a cross over but nevertheless representative of society as was. 'As Long As There's An Heartache' top song in my book. The diverse style of 'T' I suppose is what we are really discussing here and some genre appeal more to some than others. Whilst Campbell is a loser (wow..... must be to lose her love) they did I believe make some good music and 'Shoulder to Shoulder' is up there with the best of them.LOL

I have to agree with you Peter! As much as I can't stand Glen, I did like "Shoulder to Shoulder" and "Dreamlover". Great songs from days gone by! Sorry Bob! But ya can't say this is a "girl" thing, cause I'm pretty sure Peter ain't no girl! LOL!
Dee posted 1/1/07 3:40 AM     Click here to send email to Dee
BTW Peter, I'm really glad he lost her love, can you imagine her being married to him now? OMG, just look at that mug shot! It was worth loosing two teeth to get rid of him, IMHO!LOL

what did tanya sound like singing im not lisa?
Bob posted 1/1/07 7:07 AM
WOW...Great topic...Sorry Michael..I love White Rocket....Thought it was pretty cool...lol. I don't mind dreamlover byTanya and Glenn, but Shoulder to Shoulder was over the top for me....Saw them sing it on TV and I just couldn't buy it....He has kids older than Tanya...Gross....Tany'a version of I'm Not Lisa is pretty good. It's a cover...Not bad, not great.

Never heard her sing "I'm Not Lisa".But Michael, looks like you're out voted on "White Rocket". I went and listened to hit and it really good! About a wineo guy on the streets. I like it.

Michael posted 1/2/07 4:55 AM
Didn't know this was a competition or I would of been a little more competitive. For instance, I LOVE, I dont Believe thats how you Feel from the Complicated CD. It was different with a Tex Mex feel and was set to be a single for T if the CD would have been pushed a little harder. I just thought it to be alot more fun than "Ridin' out the Heartache although a good song. What's yall think?
Michael posted 1/2/07 5:08 AM
Hey Troy,
I believe she was about 16 when she recorded "I'm not Lisa" if I'm not mistaken.
I'm with Bob, she did a good job, not a GREAT job, but she sure did it 100% better than Jessie Colter IMHO!!!
PS This is one song I got to see her do live and thought it to be much better than the recorded version.
